Hello all
Hope and trust all is well. I just recieved my brand new Honey Bee CP2 from Raidentech. Played with the sim and really enjoying it. No where near ready to fly the real thing yet but did want to plug it all in and see it ready to fly when I am. I charged all of the batteries to full capacity. On the 0406 TX I turned the "idle up" to the off position (away from me). Placed the throttle and gain all the way down and all others at middle position. The 4bottom switches I set to down, up, down, up. All chips well seated and I also unpluged the main and tail drive motors (so as not to loose a limb) I turned on the TX and pluged in the battery. The servos went NUTS ! Lights bilinked red / green and continued to for 10 minutes....no calibration. I unpluged and tried again. Same outcome. I thought maybe the servos are binding so I disconnected the linkages from the servos and tried again. Red and green flashed for another 15 minutes. Anyone have any Ideas I might try ??? Any replies sure would be appreciated. Thanking all in advance. Neil

Try this:
In order to get my stock TX to work correctly with FMS (flight sim) I had to adjust the one of the dip switches under the third battery from the left. Maybe you did this and forgot. If you remove the 2nd,3rd, 4th batteries you should see a hole around battery 3 with a little red block with two white switches. They should be set to the off positions.

Also check your servo reverser switches on the TX. My current servo reverser switches are set to AIL-NOR, ELE-REV, THR-NOR, RUD-REV. If your throttle is reversed that may (?) cause the problem.

Your throttle should be all the way off and throttle trim tab down until the 4in1 stops blinking and goes green.

My next step would be to disconnect all the servos and switches from the 4in1 (carefully marking where thay came from so you can put them back) and fire up the TX and then the plug in the battery to issolate the fault to the 4in1 and/or the TX.

Thanks so much for the reply.....I appreciate your time indeed. Okay, here is where I am before trying your possibles. I got to thinking.....(hurts) I have been trying to do the TX / RX Calibrations here indoors and thought hummmm maybe it won't Cal because of TVI. Here at home I have wireless internet, remote TV controllers and a few others. I took the whole lot outside away from all of this wireless gadgetry and within 3 minutes it did indeed Calibrate and the ESC light went solid green (for about 5 minutes) then the whole "away she goes" started again. Servos running wild non stop and red / green contiuious flashing. I have a feeling I am onto something and will try your advise and write back so that if anyone else is having this problem as well they will have some direction or, at least know they are not alone.
